President's Welcome Message!

The 1000th meeting was held on 28th June 1996 with visiting brothers from all over the country.  The current membership stands at 28 and we are actively campaigning to increase our membership.  Our membership is drawn from the parishes in the Hull area of the Middlesborough Diocese.  The Circle, as a unit, does not become directly involved with parishes, but the brothers are expected, and do play leading roles in the support of their parish, clergy and local committees, and provide expert help for their Parish Priests.

On the second Wednesday of every month, a short meeting is held, starting at 7.30 pm, followed by dinner at the Holiday Inn Marina Hotel.  The raising of funds for charitable causes is not a prime objective of  Catenian Circles but social events and charitable evenings contribute to the President's Charitable fund which is distributed annually to his chosen charities.

As well at the monthly meetings (members only) we organise many social events to involve wives and families.  We also visit and keep in contact with the widows of our past members on a regular basis.

With this brief introduction to Circle 7, I invite Brothers from other circles to come and visit us. I can assure you of a very warm welcome, good food, hospitality, and an excellent opportunity to widen you circle of Catholic friends.
Please contact Circle Secretary or President to book in.

Prospective candidates for membership to Circle 7
